What is the purpose of this call?
West Africa faces multiple challenges in terms of conflicts, the causes and effects of which are played out at different levels. In the face of this, many actors are working to respond to these challenges with contributions coming from different entry points, whether from the fields of peacebuilding specifically, or from those of humanitarian and development assistance, risk reduction and adaptation to climate change, environmental protection, or support for better governance of natural resources.
PeaceNexus provides support in organizational development and organizational integration of conflict sensitivity to actors playing key roles at different levels and in different sectors to strengthen social cohesion and peace in West Africa. We wish, through this call, to select up to four new partners.
What do we offer?
The selected partners will benefit from comprehensive support within the framework of either an Organizational Development process DO-Support Area 1 (page 7), or an organizational integration process of Conflict Sensitivity SC-Support Area 2 (page 9) .
Our support offer includes strategic and technical support from the PeaceNexus team, as well as a financial contribution of between CHF 15,000 and CHF 45,000 towards the costs associated with the change process. This may include:
- External expertise
- Direct costs related to the change process such as transport costs, workshop costs, communication, etc.
Our supports do NOT cover:
- Financing operational projects
- Financing salaries
