Who we are
Our Funding
PeaceNexus operations are financed by a single endowment from the visionary Swiss philanthropist Hansjörg Wyss, received in 2009. This gift covered all operational costs until 2023 and continues to fund most of our operations. Since 2024, we have begun to receive grants from other foundations, enabling us to expand the support we provide to partners in four programmes in line with our 2024-2026 strategy.
As part of our operations, we also collaborate with other funders to share learning, build capacity, and enable them to expand and adapt their support in complex contexts.
